[flashrom] is flashrom project dead or not?

hi I hope is not i try to make an EEPROM programmer with an Arduino Uno and kali Linux and off course Flashrom app  but I have many problems with itI try to erase an SPI but operation was not complete and stopping every time.:(when I try to ask someone to help me,  I didn't find any forum or any living web site :(would you please help me??
