I don't know what the stock flash chip is right off, as after booting,
I swapped in an AMIC A29040B. It failed to fully flash this, but that
was due to the AMIC chip being 512KB, while the stock flash was 256KB.
Flashrom did detect this, and warned that it wasn't likely to work.
I was running this from a live CD, System Rescue CD Specifically. The
motherboard is 80% dead at this point (no working IDE, booted USB CD).

Will Try. When it freezes at 50%, it deadlocks the system, which
may lead to problems as the only target I have for saving the logs
is USB (with it's nasty delayed writing, even when not mounted
async).<br>
